The Transit Advocacy Academy, co-hosted by Living Streets Lexington, Fayette Alliance, and Lextran, will take place over four Sunday afternoon sessions from October through February and will cover the following topics:

• October 26: What is public transit? 

• November 9: Land use + transportation planning

• January 11: Coverage vs. ridership

• February 8: Effective transit advocacy

For all sessions, food will be provided, as well as help with childcare and transportation if needed. The Academy will accept 25 participants, with applications opening September 23. Sign up to be notified when applications open.
